On-Site Engraving Events

​​Thank you for reaching out. I work full-time and do hand engraving in the evenings and on weekends. For on-site events (typically 3–4 hours plus setup and travel), my rates, fees, and policies are outlined below. I typically engrave 20–25 glasses/bottles per hour (2–3 words, e.g., names, initials, “Happy Mother’s Day,” “Merry Christmas”). Please note that many of my Fridays and Saturdays around Father's Day, November, and December fill up fast. You can view my current availability here: Calendar.


I can also accommodate preorders where I pick up, engrave, and deliver the following week. Pricing starts at $150 and is based on the number of preorders.

 

RATES/FEES:

On-Site Events:
$150/hr (MD), $175/hr (DC), $200/hr (VA) + setup & travel.

  • 3-hour minimum (weeknights) / 4-hour minimum (weekends).

  • For events under the minimum, an additional $100 applies.

  • Weeknights: usually 3 hours between 3 to 9 pm, within 30–40 minutes of Millersville, MD. Travel to DC is typically 1 hour, so usually between 4 to 9 pm.

  • Weekends: 4-hour minimum (can be split into 2 back-to-back events totaling 6 hours).

 

Travel:

  • Mileage billed at the standard IRS rate + tolls/parking from Millersville, MD (Anne Arundel County), or flat $50 per hour of travel.

 

Setup:

  • I arrive 30 minutes prior. A 4’ × 4’ space for a table & chair is required (please confirm if provided).

  • I use a battery-operated drill, which does not require power.
     

Payment:

  • Due at event end via cash or check (to Deb Healy Designs).

  • Digital payments accepted: Zelle, Venmo (@Debra-Healy #6500), PayPal (@debhealydesigns).
    For PayPal/Venmo, please send as friends to avoid fees.

  • ACH or credit card accepted; due within 15 days.

  • A one-time $15 admin/service fee per invoice applies (covers admin, maintenance, processing).

  • Late fees: $25/week after 30 days.

 

Booking & Cancellation:

  • Email requested date, time, and location to book/hold a date.

  • All events must be confirmed in advance, where applicable:

    • Events scheduled for the 1st–15th must be confirmed by the 20th of the previous month.

    • Events scheduled for the 16th–end of the month must be confirmed by the 1st of that month.

  • Holiday season bookings may require a retainer.

  • Cancellation fees:

    • 72 hours or less: $150

    • 48 hours or less: $300

    • 24 hours or less: full amount

 

DISCLAIMERS:

  • I agree that I am paying for the engraving services listed in the invoice.

  • All sales are final, and payments are non-refundable.

  • I DO NOT engrave pressurized bottles, including champagne, sparkling wines, beer, or glass growlers, due to a high risk of explosion when carbonation is involved, but will write on the bottle using gold or silver leaf pens by request.

  • I can engrave anything metal or glass, including wine & liquor bottles, flasks, silverware, plastic-coated tumblers (Yeti, Corkcicle, etc.), glasses, mugs, candles, dog tags, slate, crystal, perfume bottles. Please inquire if requesting another material.

  • Please note that all engraving is personalized and done by hand, not machine! It will not be "perfect" as if a laser created this task and can impact structural integrity. I am not responsible for any damage that may occur during the engraving process, and the item(s) will not be reimbursed or replaced once engraved. Additionally, I will not be held liable in any way for any breakage(s) or damage(s).

  • I do not claim to own any rights to any branding or company name. Any engraving completed may be photographed and used in my professional portfolio, including social media platforms.
