My name is Debra Healy. During the day, I work full-time as a Production Manager for Circle Graphics, Inc. For fun, I am a freelance Graphics Designer, Crafter/Rock Painter, and a part-time Brand Ambassador pouring wine, beer, and spirits for local stores and events at night. Working part-time allows me to meet new people and learn about new products. During a Stella Artois sampling, I met Jenny Gordon, a calligrapher and engraver of Just Write Studios. I watched Jenny in awe while she engraved chalices for customers. I started asking Jenny lots of questions about her profession and where I could learn more. From there, I started taking online classes learning the basics of modern calligraphy and hand lettering. What’s next? Engraving. It was my opportunity to learn engraving online in 2020.
